About who needs care: Has heart disease, recent heart failure, enlarged prostate(urinating problems), blood pressure concerns, weakness (recently hospitalization and became physically weaker) Cant be home be alone as hes not able to get himself up from the bed to go to the bathroom or to get anything to eat in the kitchen. Would look for somebody to come in around noon and stay until 6 p.m. until I get home from work. Only expecting to need assistance (temporarily) for about a month maybe 2. About the care needs: Someone who knows how to do proper transferring of a patient, assisting them in getting up, walking them to the bathroom or to the living room. Knows how to assist in personal care such as bathing and getting dressed, heating food, not too talkative or chatty. a veteran is ideal (my father is a Vietnam vet). Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
