About the job
I'm looking for hands-on weekend care for my husband in his late 70s. He has Alzheimer's disease and is bedridden. We need help crushing and giving him his medicine, changing his diaper (brief), making him breakfast and lunch, changing bedding as necessary, and keeping him company. Also help with his laundry and take out trash. He is short and weighs about 130. He is sweet and pleasant as long as people don't rush him or try to pull on him. He can usually answer simple questions but doesn't initiate much conversation. Must be comfortable with a 55 lb golden doodle and 2 black cats. Hours can be somewhat flexible.
