About who needs care: Has rheumatoid arthritis so has pain in hands and other joints. She is currently wheelchair bound, I want her to try to build up strength and muscle tissue to get some mobility back. My mom has a slight issues with memory and may ask the same questions. She enjoys music, pop culture and just talking with others. Unfortunately she has lost some of her hobbies since she has become wheelchair bound. Most days she spends in the bed watching tv or switching into her chair and sitting in the living room. She is a very sweet compassionate woman that had an incident similar to a stroke and it has completely flipped her world upside down, she will be turning 50 this year. About the care needs: A good fit for her would be someone who is also kind and compassionate but willing to tell her how it is in a not so harsh way. Someone who is cheerful and able to motivate. Some skills that would help would be physical therapy, memory games such as puzzles, cards or matching. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
