About who needs care: My sister is a 76-year-old woman who has beginning stages of dementia and needs someone to help her stay on a schedule. Her dementia is very mild right now. She needs someone with a lot of patience, kindness, and care. Right now, we are looking for someone 2 days per week. Services needed include: Someone to come in the morning and help her get out of bed, get dressed, eat breakfast and remind her to take her morning medicines. She needs help with light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed sheets. She also needs companionship and possibly someone to take her on errands and get her out of the house. She is registered for the GoApex bus that can come to her house and pick her and a care giver up and take anywhere in the Apex City limits or she can be driven. She has 2 cats in the home.
