Companion Care Needed For My Grandmother In Cleveland

About who needs care: We want someone to sit with my grandmother, do light housework, make sure she has food and her clothes washed. She loves books on tape but can't listen to them since her vision is so impaired. She loves to talk about her childhood and visit. Her underlying condition besides being elderly is that her vision is greatly decreased. Her best day would be to have someone sit with her and chat later in the afternoon, and to eat a light lunch and play a book on tape for her to listen to. This person would also help answer her telephone. About the care needs: Someone who is able to handle my grandmother being initially opposed to help but she'll open up quickly with the right friend to visit her. She is in denial that she needs help, but she definitely needs help. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
