About who needs care: They have a form of epilepsy in which it causes them to permanently have the mental capacity of a 10 to 12-year-old. There is immediate family to take care of her and so she requires a live-in caretaker. Her day typically consists of nothing beyond that of what a child may do in a day such as eating, taking medication, watching TV, bathing, etc. all of which she can do on her own. A caretaker is required due to the possibility of a seizure occurring as well as to ensure the correct medication is taken. About the care needs: Knowing what to do in the event of an epileptic seizure and also being able to give the correct medication and dosage required to her in the morning and at night each day. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
