The successful applicant should be honest, trustworthy, fun, understanding, patient, a good listener, punctual, and a good communicator. The person should have at least a CNA. Hoyer lift experience is helpful but must be willing to be trained. Responsibilities include medication prompting, personal care such as assisting with transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal grooming, meal preparation, light house keeping, laundry, and providing companionship. Having experience working with patients with multiple sclerosis is a plus.
