About who needs care: She has acute myeloid leukemia. Sometimes needs help getting up to use the restroom (typically uses a portable commode) and requires someone to make sure she can get to other rooms in the house with her walker, and give her oxygen once she gets there. She is pretty good with her walker but gets a little dizzy. Very tiny woman... under 80 lb. Also doesn't understand how to work her oxygen tanks very well. About the care needs: Trustworthy and reliable. She likes quiet time. She works on jigsaw puzzles when she can get into the dining room. Her house is not the best kept, but she has always tried to keep a neat home. She does have a chihuahua that can get a little protective at times... usually when she is in bed and he is lying with her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
