About who needs care: At this time, I am mainly looking for transportation to appointments. At this time, I am mainly looking for transportation to appointments. I have a manual wheelchair and an electric one. An automobile that handles the wheelchair is ideal. Somehow I could transfer in and out of the vehicle from the wheelchair and transport the wheelchair that would work too. My IllI have a manual wheelchair and an electric one. My dilemma is, I cannot use my legs at all. The assistant might have to lift me into the car. I do have strong upper body strength. If the car was level with my wheelchair, I could probably transfer by myself. Will have to see we have to discuss this further. About the care needs: I do get along with most personality types. However, I would like ideally to have someone that is patient, and kind someone who wants to talk to you and develop a friendship rather than be impersonal. I think someone who likes to laugh is important for me. As far as specialized skill, I would be more comfortable with someone who is physically strong. I love all sorts of things and I'm interested in other peoples hobbies as well. I like reading, writing, poetry, learning how to paint and draw.
