About who needs care: Has dementia, he may talk lot but most of his conversations may be things he did 50+ years ago. He is easy to get along with and dozes on the couch a lot. He used to be very active but not anymore. About the care needs: No, very little will be required of the care giver other than maybe fix him a sandwich. He is pretty independent but if he goes out he usually cannot remember which apartment he came out of. Services needed include: companionship.
