About the job
We're looking for a daily caregiver for my mother (61). She's receiving palliative care for a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, so we want to supplement her home health care. Mentally, my mom has full faculties. But physically, she has very limited mobility due to an extended hospital stay and some surgeries. So we're looking for someone to help maintain her hygiene and comfort, prepare lunch, remind her to take her medication, and take her to and from doctor's appointments as needed when we are unable to. We have medical equipment to her support her and keep her comfortable. There are two dogs and a cat in the home, and we are able to work remotely occasionally. The schedule can be flexible based on your availability and the home health schedule.
