About the job
We need hands-on care for my adult son in Belton. He sustained a traumatic brain injury in 1993 and has gradually lost many motor functions he used to be able to control. Has only got use of his Right arm and leg, so he has fallen many times. He no longer walks, but requires transfer assist between lift chair, power wheelchair, and bedside commode. A male caregiver would be preferred for safety. He needs occasional suprapubic catheter care and clothing changes from leaks. We'd like someone several mornings a week to get him up and dressed and prepare him some scrambled eggs and sausage. We hope that a friendship develops from these mornings as the client has very little contact with anyone besides his parents.
