About who needs care: My mother is 93, living in assisted living and recently started using a wheelchair, with the facility's CNAs providing daily care and transfers. She was diagnosed with colon cancer a month ago, and is in hospice care. She has mild dementia, so she needs help using the pendant to call for the CNAs, getting her meals to her room, and making sure she doesn't try to move around on her own. My sister and I have been alternating shifts, but we need help during my nephew's wedding planned for May 3rd. I am looking for someone to stay with my mom 24/7 from May 2nd - May 6th. About the care needs: My mom likes up-beat, sassy personalities. She doesn't need a lot of care from this caregiver, just someone to watch over her during the timeframe listed. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
