Help needed for my mother in her 80s - seeking part-time companion care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. My mother has advanced dementia and is bedbound. She lives with her daughter who is the main caretaker and adult son who has cerebral palsy. We need someone to sit with our mother while her daughter takes her brother for extensive dental work appointments on Wednesdays and so that we can (adult daughter and son) can attend church on Sundays and go to eat afterwards. Sunday church is a much needed break and support system for us. Ideal candidate has experience with dementia and is upbeat and responsible. You will mainly just sit with our mother and keep her safe.
