About who needs care: My father was in an accident and is recovering from brain trauma. Prior to the accident he worked everyday and was completely self sufficient. The brain injury is healing well but it caused other issues with his kidneys and diabetes which made his hospital stay longer and his body weaker. I am looking for temporary assistance once he is out of the hospital to help my 79-year-old mother with his care in their home. He is a wonderful, kind, funny, determined man. About the care needs: My father is sharp and loves banter so humor is important. He needs a watchful eye on his diabetes and his diet. Someone that can check his blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. and provide reassurance to my mom as re recovers. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
