About the job
About who needs care: Dad has Dementia and just moved in with us. He is wandering a lot. He loves to go for hikes and easy bike rides but I am homeschooling and need some short breaks to do lessons with the kids so looking for a companion with experience in dementia that can take him for hikes. Maybe his dog too. Prefer mornings out and then to come home for lunch but maybe sometimes a quick lunch out since he enjoys eating out too. One to two times a week About the care needs: He used to be very quiet and reserved but now more talkative. Gets confusing with the dementia. Looking for experience in dementia for times of being fixated on certain things and needs help with redirection. He has always been a big outdoors guy and can still go on long walks. He doesn't like to sit around the house so hoping to get him out and about for his restlessness. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
