I'm 51, and I have cerebral palsy. I use an electric wheelchair and use a voice computer, but I communicate faster using my own hand number language. Currently I'm qualified to get up to 15 pca hours a day but it could drop to 10, but it will likely stay at 15. However, it doesn't necessarily mean that one pca gets the entire amount of hours a day. Recently I was told by my pca agency that With no overtime, pcas would make 19. 00 an hour with experience and no overtime. With no overtime and no experience $17. 00, but you would need to ask them to confirm their starting pay, and you might be able to try to negotiate for more pay due to your experience. I would try to be flexible with your shift schedule. I would like you to have a valid driver's license.
