Companion Care Needed For My Father In Minneapolis

About who needs care: He is basically healthy. He has a pacemaker but doing very well. His eyes are getting bad, and he is slowing down cognitively, but can have a conversation and keeps up on current events. He is also still active in his investment club. He likes to read. He just recently got his license taken away because of his eyesight and that has really isolated him. I think just having someone to talk to, maybe take him to the store, appointments etc and do light cleaning for now would be good. About the care needs: Someone who is a good listener and has experience with elderly people. My mom passed away 10 years ago, and he misses her and her companionship. He likes to listen to music of his era. He doesn't really like to play games, but maybe someone creative who can engage him in something. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
