About who needs care: My mom has Dementia and is very forgetful. She enjoys going for walks, chatting, art, music, reading and more. She stays up late and sleeps in, light breakfast/lunch. She has trouble remembering to drink and is often dehydrated. She will sometimes go out with friends when they pick her up for a planned outing. About the care needs: My mom likes to laugh and has a good sense of humor. She also doesn't like to be directed or ordered around. She can be led but likes to feel like she is part of the decision making process or the decision maker in general. A good candidate is warm and caring but not overbearing or overly talkative. Services needed include: Transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
