About who needs care: I am a Stage 4 Gastro Esophageal Junction adenocarcinoma patient that just needs help with getting to chemotherapy and honestly just getting back home. Before my appointment I am fully capable of doing any and all tasks. After chemotherapy I just need to get back home and settled in for the day. I am looking for a nurse with a great (dark) sense of humor. I can not tolerate people who are too serious or can not joke about death, cancer, or anything else. Hours would typically be 7 a.m. - 1 or 2 p.m. 90% of this time is just sitting and being available to assist during and after chemotherapy. About the care needs: Dark sense of humor appreciated. Need someone that can retrieve items during chemotherapy infusion and light assistance with getting to the car and into my home and then getting me setup in bed or a recliner. Easy work for the most part if you can tolerate my chatter and humor. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
