Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Waterford

About who needs care: My mom is a bariatric patient. She went into the hospital the first week of December very ill. She ended up in a skilled facility for six weeks, which was terrible, and she declined even more. She came home yesterday, and my dad has been her primary caregiver for years; however, she cannot do any of the things she did before going into the hospital. He needs someone to help him with daily things such as bathing, dressing, etc. She loves to paint. My dad is very structured and preps all her meals and medication. During this process, my mom had a significant cognitive decline. Before this health incident, she had no memory problems. About the care needs: I need someone who is extremely understanding, empathic, and compassionate. My mom is a bariatric patient and needs someone who takes their time and can give her a sense of trust. She is in a lot of pain, and people do not understand the situation and think they can just move her usually. However, that is not the case. This person must have lots of patience and be able to help with a bariatric person. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
