About who needs care: She just had a 2nd stroke and needs assistance to walk, shower, etc. She is also an insulin dependent diabetic. She loves nature but has not had much opportunity to go places in the last few years. About the care needs: A laid back but stern when needed personality. They need to be able to check her blood sugar and administer insulin. And assist her with walking. She is only comfortable with a woman caregiver. Helping her with her pt exercises would be a plus but not required. Someone who would sit outside with her, weather permitting, would be great. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
