About who needs care: My sister is recovering from a broken hip. She did have balance issues before the break and used a walker. I believe she needs assistance each day in the morning to get moving for the day. Hopefully this would not require long term assistance. About the care needs: Someone with lots of patience and compassion would be a good fit. My sister can be a bit cranky at times due to her frustration with her frail body. I'm not sure what specialized skills would be needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
