About who needs care: My mom, 97 years old, needs transportation to medical/dental appointments about 5 times a year. She will need standby assist for transferring from a w/c to the car or to a chair. She normally is independent with toileting needs. She is pleasant and fun to talk with but forgetful. About the care needs: A female who has her own car and likes to work with geriatric people. She must be able to take mom to and from appointments and stay in the waiting area until she returns. Transfer mom to her own transport w/c which is lightweight and easy to maneuver and deliver her to the doctor's exam room and assist her to a chair safely. Mom is a fall risk so being attentive to safety is very important. Services needed include: transportation, and mobility assistance.
