About who needs care: My mother, Laurie was hospitalized from flu and pneumonia and suffered from critical myopathy in her legs. She is continuing to make progress each day as PT, OT and nursing comes to her house throughout the week. However, she does require someone to be with her to make sure she is safe when transferring and the use of the bathroom. She is able to walk, but requires assistance standing. We do have a SaraSteady mover in case she isn't feeling strong enough. About the care needs: Patience is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
