About who needs care: Some issues with breathing, but not on oxygen. She's mobile, better with a walker. At this time she is a bit frail, but able to do simple tasks on her own. Has periods of forgetting, worse in the evenings. Receiving in home PT, OT and a weekly visit from nurse. Will probably be completed in a month or so. Right now there is some depression, so not much interest in former hobbies like reading. About the care needs: My mom still has her sense of humor. She needs a good listener, but also someone who is a good conversationalist. She enjoys a good conversation with laughter. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
