Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Redford

About who needs care: had a stroke in June 2024. She is paralyzed on the right side. She needs assistance up to beside commode. She is wheelchair bound but is able to stand and pivot. Family is seeking overnight care from 12am-6 p.m. She needs minimal assistance at night. She enjoys watching television in her recliner and music. About the care needs: Mom is organized, clean and very particular about her belongings. I failed to mention that she has aphasia. This is a huge factor when communicating. She is often able to understand but has difficulty expressing herself at times. All caregivers should be compassionate, flexible, patient, understanding, fun, yet firm when needed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
