About who needs care: Tom is a very proud, stubborn individual who has to have things in order and likes to be involved in the decision making process. He likes to walk and do physical exercise. He likes the big ships and enjoys watching them in our local lake and river front parks. He also likes trains and cars. He can get cantankerous. He also likes visiting his wife who's in mercy village, currently, and NOT by his choice; that is a matter being handled by his attorney, so a trip to that facility cannot be ruled out. Tom also has sun downers, a moderate form of dementia so night time gets interesting. About the care needs: Care giver (s) should be personable and have a sense of humor, Tom does like a good joke now and then. Talkative is fine but should be reasonable. If you like to walk about, Tom does. He is very proud and doesn't engage on personal matters. He is coming to terms with his limitations and doesn't like it. He likes the big ships, trains, planes and automobiles. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
