About who needs care: My mom is able to walk with a walker with assistance, never alone. She broke her hip earlier this year and recovered but we are very careful. She has a type of skin cancer that causes her pain and she is on pain medication. About the care needs: Friendly, warm. Not condescending or patronizing. Be genuine. You don't have to entertain her. She usually eats prepared or frozen meals so you don't have to cook, just get food ready for her. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
