We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aide to provide one-on-one care for our sweet elderly mother in our home near the Queen's neighborhood in Jackson. The ideal candidate will have experience in elderly care or be a student or professional in the medical field. A respectful and gentle approach, along with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for Mom, is essential. Responsibilities include: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, changing, feeding and administering prescribed medications. Monitor vital signs and report changes in health, behavior, and needs to family members. Candidate will need to perform physical tasks such as lifting and supporting. We have a Prevelon AirTap system to assist with turning and moving Mom (weighs 130 pounds) and Hoyer lift.
