About the job
About who needs care: He's my brother. He has a heart condition and has an LVAD Left Ventricle Assist Device. He has to be plugged into electricity or on batteries as a backup to live. He's needing a nurse or someone to be trained to change the bandages at the port site where the small tubing goes into the side of his stomach. One time per week on Wednesdays preferred. About the care needs: Someone who can handle him calmly should he become a little irritated. He gets upset sometimes if he has to repeat himself or thinks someone didn't listen. He likes to watch TV. Likes westerns. Was an over the road truck driver and loved that job. Grew up on a small farm. He also has two little dogs that bark a lot when someone first comes in the door. They have never bitten anyone. He also smokes. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
