About the job
About who needs care: handicapped/74 yrs. old male who walks with walker, I can do self care in home, Own home.. Live alone. no pets. Need help with house cleaning-lawn cutting-snow shoveling-and physical tasks I cannot do. I Prepare own meals and get own groceries. Cannot drive but have DOT Handicapped van assistance. Can do most tasks myself as I am in good health but may be having hip surgery soon. Then I will need more help, Cannot walk good due to prior back injury. Trying to keep and maintain my own home. I have Medi care. About the care needs: Prefer male help from mature person. House tasks require some light lifting . As moping floors-taking out trash and snow shoveling. Can do own bathing and toileting. If surgery occurs for hip I will have Medi care help after returning from hospital or rehab facility but will need chore help at home but nursing care will be provided. I have no family or friends to help.. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
