Companion caretaker needed for my husband in Bellaire, MI at Shanty Creek Resorts who has Alzheimer's. Responsibilities include: light meal preparation, providing companionship, social interaction, finding his tv channels, going to the workout center with him, the pool, the private beach club, golfing and/or range practice, to and from a friend's; but mostly being on hand to help him if needed and to make sure he doesn't wander. He sits most days watching tv, the kitties, and the birds. Activities need to be supervised so he does them safely. Transportation in the resort includes our personal golf cart and free shuttle bus. Caregiver must be a non-smoker, comfortable with pets (2 kitties). Job could include feeding pets, light housekeeping at times. Additional days/hours and/or overnights might be available.
