About who needs care: 74year old female nearing end of life. Several underlying & recent conditions. We are seeking help for the interim while we work on getting her into a nursing home. She spends most or all of day in bed. Needs assistance with getting up and back into bed/going to and from restroom. Needs help dressing, feeding, hygiene. Minimal meal prep. About the care needs: Seeking someone with compassion, kindness, empathy. Would be a plus if caregiver is able to assist patient in checking her blood sugar and passing her pre-sorted meds. Need someone who is willing to communicate with and keep updated the patient's neighbor (he will help with patient if needed) and patients adult daughter/sisters. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
