About who needs care: My mom is in hospice but is able to mostly care for herself. She needs help with the meds and meals and enjoys companionship. I am with her most days but my work occasionally requires me to leave the home for meetings. She can be left alone for a few hours at a time, but if I'm gone all day, I need someone to check in on her and maybe spend several hours in the morning and/or mid-day ensuring she gets what she needs in terms of meds/meals. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be friendly and patient. My mom has some anxiety about her situation (being in hospice), about the med schedule (staying on it; not missing anything) and is fairly regimented about schedules in general. So someone who can reassure her that all is OK would be great. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
