About who needs care: My mother is experience confusion/memory issues and needs help getting to appointment as she is not a safe driver and as a family we need her to be safe as we have a bit to much to handle supporting her and my fathers current needs. My father just recently - one week ago- had a stroke and is currently in rehab and, with cognitive and mobility issues. Currently my mother is living with my brothers very busy family in Ann Arbor MI. I live in Portland Oregon and can not work remotely. We need help to support my brothers family to maintain work and school schedules. About the care needs: a bright sunny positive person who is willing to walk at a very slow pace with my mom, driver to to and from doctors appointments, as well as be able to calmly remained her what doctors she is going to and why. Be able to have patience listening to some long winded stories and be a force of organization and calm for a busy family in a bit of a crisis. Services needed include: transportation.
