I'm envisioning a caregiver coming in 2 hours twice a week. My Dad just moved to a lovely, assisted living facility in Westbrook. He has his daily care needs met. However I need help filling in the gaps where staff duties end. Tasks may include: 1) Teaching him how to use his new "senior' cell phone. 2) Helping him set up and learn the TV smart setup. 3) Helping him try on new clothes. 4) Helping organize and tidy his new apartment. 5) Having light conversation so he can practice language. 6) Enjoying a cup of coffee with him. He had a severe stroke 4 weeks ago and has lost a lot of verbal abilities. He's also relearning movement and practicing ADL's while getting to know this new and foreign version of himself. You'd really be doing us a great service here. He's a sweet and grateful 82-year-old man with a lot of life left.
