About the job
About who needs care: Alzheimer's, and is constantly asking where he is, what month it is, how he got here. He enjoys watching TV and doing word-searches, but gets stressed when confusion sets in, and no one is around him to answer his questions about where he is etc. We like to get him up and walking around, shower every 2 days, eat a healthy breakfast and when it's warmer, a nice walk in the yard. He would usually like to relax in his chair and do word-searches or watch his favorite TV shows. About the care needs: Talkative and empathetic personality would be good. No specialized skills, Bill does need some help sometimes standing up and needs help walking down short stairway to go outside. Hobbies and interests are Word-Search puzzles and favorite TV shows. He also enjoys listening to music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Services needed include: companionship.
