We need companion care to take care of my elderly father in Washington. He has some memory loss and can be annoyed and cranky - but he's also the funniest person I know! He grew up in the Bronx and loves Jewish food. My mom currently lives with him but his confusion is getting worse. She wants to come for week-long vacations with her kids and grandkids but she can't leave dad alone. We're thinking a 2x weekly visit to begin, and sometimes a 5x per week stay for when she's out of town? Some light tidying up is involved. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a younger caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. And who can handle my dad's dry sense of humor.
