About who needs care: Aging Hobby quilting, baking, writing letters & cards About the care needs: We are seeking care for a strong Finnish elderly woman. A good fit would be someone that who can handle strong, stubborn personality and let words roll of their shoulders. She came to the US about 70 years ago and is familiar with hard work and has experienced adversity in her life. She is the last living of 13 siblings. Her sons live in NY and have offered to care for here there, but she would prefer to remain in the home she shared with her husband who passed 10 years. Her daughter and primary caregiver who lives with her has been diagnosed with cancer and will need help caring for her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
