Seeking hands-on daytime caregiver for the next two weeks My mom is a lively person with COPD and dementia. She is on hospice in our home. My mom's regular Monday to Friday helper is on vacation for the next two weeks and our family is seeking hands-on weekday coverage during that time. -hands-on help going up and down the stairs to her bedroom -assertiveness with healthy toileting essentials and incontinence pull-ups -hand-on assistance with clothes -Administer oxygen cannula, nebulizer, and medications -Creative problem solving to maintain routine. Remaining firm, patient, and kind. Redirecting mood swings, inflexible thinking, and demanding behavior.
