About the job
I am a part-time teacher and full time caregiver for my 91-year-old mom who is moving into our home. She is a lively person who is slowing down due to dementia and COPD. I am looking for coverage during the hours I am at work. My mom enjoys feeling independent and prefers the idea of hiring a cleaner or a cook for my house over the idea of me hiring a caregiver for her. (Though she is quick to ask for help as soon as she loses her phone or forgets how to use her nebulizer.) The idea is that you would work at a relaxed pace on a list of cleaning / laundry tasks for our family of 5. To honor the unusual schedule and the multiple priorities, we hope to pay your top hourly rate (based on verified experience + references).
