Hands-on Care Needed For My Loved One In Bangor

Seeking a part-time caregiver for my brother, 42, a traumatic brain injury survivor, in his Bangor home. Daily duties include hands-on care, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. CNA or PSS experience is a plus but is not required. We will train a kind & patient person who can perform a single-person assisted transfer (using a gait belt, from power wheelchair to bed, etc.) Background check required. We offer: - A flexible schedule (Currently seeking someone with weekday afternoons and/or weekend morning availability. We have several aides, though just one person works at a time.) - A supportive family atmosphere - Off-street parking - Non-smoking, modern home; walkable distance to downtown Bangor - Pay starts at $21/hour depending on experience.
