About who needs care: She is recovering from a stroke. Still has difficulty with word retrieval. Doesnt really have any hobbies. She used to enjoy scrabble and other word games prior to the stroke. She used to enjoy playing solitaire as well. She enjoys watching tv, but I would like to see her engaged in other activities. She also needs to perform her pt exercises and speech daily. About the care needs: Im looking for someone who is compassionate and patient. The person be positive and encouraging. I dont think that the type of care my mother needs would be considered specialized. There are no specific hobbies or interests required. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
