About who needs care: Has had two brain bleeds since February with hospital stays and a recent fall at home and another rehab stay is concluding on Christmas Eve. She has rheumatoid arthritis so is limited with mobility with cane and walker. She is a Christian and loves to read inspirational books and do her Scripture wordsearch books. She loves Hallmark and watches Christmas movies ALL the time, lol. She loves her plants and doing gardening but with her current limitations can't do the outside stuff anymore. About the care needs: Would love a caregiver who is upbeat and personable, who would enjoy reading aloud with mom, and watching her shows together. She loves to chat, but since her stroke needs someone else to initiate the conversation often. Mom needs someone who is encouraging and supportive, who can remind her to do her therapy exercises and to use her adaptive equipment (cane/walker), as well as supervise her on stairs. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
