About who needs care: I have Parkinson's Disease. I am living alone in a single family house. I have no real cognitive problem and no problems with problems with the basic ADLs, like dressing myself or feeding myself or anything like that. But I'm having a lot of trouble with executive functioning, like organizing my time and environment. I need help with some physical things that I can't handle anymore. I need help getting things done. I could use some help with ordinary tasks like doing the laundry straightening up the house, cleaning my parrot's big cages and stams, doing errands, etc. It would also be helpful to occasionally have someone to cook and eat with me if they want to and clean up the kitchen afterwards. Also, it will would be nice to have someone help me creating a structure and routine for my days. About the care needs: I have a blue fronted amazon parrot named Belle, who is the light of my life. So I really need someone who likes animals and would enjoy being around my bird. I would like someone someone with a warm, open and friendly personality. I definitely would like a female caretaker. Of course I would like them to be honest and reliable. I would like to be able to talk to them as a friend. I need them to be able to handle more complex tasks and just physical work. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
