About the job
About who needs care: The person is my brother. He would need a Hoyer lift to get from his bed to his wheelchair in the morning and the reverse in the evening. We have the Hoyer lift and a hospital bed. He had a stroke as a child and is paralyzed on his left side. He lost his ability to stand and walk within the last year and we do not know why. He is interested in sports, football, basketball, lacrosse. He loves to cook and shop. About the care needs: He would prefer a male caregiver as they would need to use a Hoyer Lift and he is 6'1" and about 200lbs. They do not need to have any specific hobbies/interests. No specialized skills needed as well. The family will be able to provide any assistance he would need with his medication. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
