About the job
Looking for reliable, occasional care for my 77-year-old mother with dementia and a hip replacement. Also in remission from stage 4 lung cancer. Primary duties are companionship, assistance to bathroom with a walker and hygiene assist. Potential simple meal serving and assistance, and transfer to first floor bed with bedtime medications. We do have 2 golden retrievers, friendly but energetic at times. Schedule is basically PRN long term, but my husband and I go on vacation 8/30 - 9/10, so looking to alleviate young adult children some during this time. Also again in early December. Between those dates, schedule could be 1 day weekly or bi-weekly.
