About the job
About who needs care: My husband has a lot of health issues! Recently he fell and had surgery to repair his femur. He was in Rehab facility for 3 + months and had home therapy and nurse checks for about 2 months! I have health issues too and cant keep up with everything! He needs help with medicine, getting breakfast & lunch, showering and moving more instead of staying in bed. He has doctor appointments which I drive to but I cant get wheelchair in & out of the vehicle and help push him. He has severe hearing loss so its difficult for him to understand people when talking to him! About the care needs: Energetic, Great personality who will joke with him! He is a talker when he has someone else to talk to! He loves game shows, older tv programs (cowboy, mystery,) Hallmark channel) football, especially college! Needs to get him to do his exercises, eat, shower, and move! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
