About who needs care: Underlying conditions are alcoholism, smoking, lung problems, cirrhosis, shoulder injury, chronic back pain, hernia, and uses a walker. His interests are his grown children, his friends, and streaming services. He would structure his ideal day to be brought breakfast on the couch, get a cold beer, call a friend and take a nap. Later another drink and his kids all visit. Then a small meal and a lot of TV, then sleeping. About the care needs: A person with a corny sense of humor, not taking work too seriously, tolerance of old guy talk, would be a good fit. Skills would be helping to remove clothes and assist in moving; experience in bathing a frail and dirty man with no good hygiene or neatness about him. Services needed include: bathing / dressing.
